MK Bowl - First Race with 4th cats

Milton Keynes Bowl 4th cat Race at 9:30am a massive field of 50-60 riders there are not many riders my age and they all seem to be middle aged, most of them have pro bikes some up to 8k in value and there's only 3 juniors so lets see how it goes with me on my second hand Planet X pro carbon.

started at the back of the pelaton they are going around the bowl anticlockwise, after the 2 lap lead out by the car the pace was fast from the start but i managed to stay in for 7 laps with plenty of expensive bikes disapearing off the back each lap, I got into a small group of 3 and at lap 14 the pelaton are slowing slighly so we caught up a little, we worked together to keep from getting lapped for over 50 mins of the race and I

finished 20th not a bad first race into the unknown!
