Race 26 Lee Valley VeloPark Big Events

Goodbye 4th cats, this was my last race and I decided to help another 4th cat up to the 3rds.

No position today, I met with the rider who finished second to me at the last race and he asked to work together since I didn't need to gain any points.

I was moving through the group extremely well and in the last five laps I moved up from the back of the 50 man peloton straight to the front, much more efficiently than in previous races. 2 laps to go and I did my bit to help the other rider, I shot up to the head and set a hard pace that nearly split the group in two, he was 5th wheel when I peeled off and I was too tired to go for the sprint.

He finished 2nd which was enough to move him up to 3rd cat racing, he likely would have done it anyway, but I like to think that I helped stretch out the bunch and prevent attacks.

s the end of my 4th cat racing forever, already can't wait for 3rd cat race next week.
