Still learning, I have improved my bunch skills, previously I had only been at the front of the peloton because I had lined up there at the start, but in this race, for the first few laps at least, I floated near the middle of the group and occasionally jumped up to the front, until we had a prime lap on lap 5, I slipped backwards, chose a few bad wheels, made some mistakes and before I knew it i was off the back, using a skill I had learned the first time I came here, I clawed my way back in with a mixture of sprinting and aero positions.
I spent the rest of the race in the lower back of the peloton, it was much harder to move up, as the peloton was thicker lower down.
Another bunch finish, disatisfied with wasted sprint opportunity, all experience.
After the Race, the man in front of me decided that his nose needed emptying, on my face, fun! I had freindly chat with another junior before pulling off the track, the I met Louis Rolfe, as our parents often talk while we race.
